Dutton, 1946. Key, Ted. first edition. hardcover. A collection of single panel cartoons about Hazel the maid that first appeared in the Saturday Evening Post. Eventually turned into a sitcom starring Shirley Booth as Hazel that ran for five seasons starting in 1961.
A near fine overall copy of a scarce signed first edition. Book is fine, dust jacket has a closed tear at top of the spine but is otherwise very good. fine. slight toning on endpapers, light shelf wear, else fine. signed with an illustration of Hazel by the author on FFEP. / 2.75" closed tear along top of spine, otherwise very good (pictured).
